Be selfish

This is exactly what I’m doing. Being a selfish twenty-something. Say something.

OMG Dash, I am the biggest advocate for being selfish! lol! But no, I am serious. I’ve been called selfish by a few people and I look at them like..ok, and your point is ?..We are young and have all the time in the world to worry about others (and when I say others I mean family, husband/wife, etc.). I say live life and do what it is that you want to do while you have the least amount of responsibilities.

And you know what? I honestly don’t believe it’s selfish. How is living your life selfish? And in any case, the only person you are responsible for at this point is yourself. There is a time for evertyhing. Not my fault your book’s chapters have been truncated, or modified, or non-existent because of YOUR decisions. And that’s what life is about. Choices.
My parents are still raising my brother and sister, my only obligation is to be a sister and a daughter and a friend (and granddaughter etc. you get my point) By definition selfish is: seeking or concentrating on one’s own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others. We all have huge regards for our loved ones, it’s a balance. We’ll continue to live out our happiness.
