Whatever Happened to a Womanly Figure?

When did this I wanna look like a 12-year-old boy trend kick in? Weren’t curves celebrated and even *gasp* desired back in the day? When did a size 6, 8 or 10 become plus size? With “role-models” like Kate Moss advocating how “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” America has completely blasphemed what a woman is “supposed to look like.”

The main idea is to be healthy. Overweight isn’t healthy, neither is underweight but whatever your “ideal weight” is do not become brainwashed by images of “skinny.” There are enough pre-pubescent boys in the world! Love your (ample) hips, thighs, butt, boobs. Honor thy hourglass.
